Meet Amanda

Amanda is a professionally licensed and insured massage therapist. She has a passion for helping her clients move forward in attaining their physical and personal goals.

Before going to school for massage therapy, Amanda was a competitive bicycle racer, but sustained major injuries from a cycling accident. This ultimately led her to volunteer at Craig Hospital in the physical therapy swimming pool helping to rehabilitate patients with brain and spinal cord injuries. She was inspired to learn how to help people even more to facilitate healing, so she pursued her long-time desire to become a massage therapist.

She has a passion for working with athletes, moms-to-be, and people with injuries and disabilities. She specializes in pain management, performance maximization, and injury prevention. She is skilled in treating neck pain, headaches, sciatica, and repetitive use injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

Her clients describe her work as therapeutic, intuitive, and relaxing. Her approach is slow, allowing for more depth of pressure with greater comfort. She works with each client to design a personalized treatment plan that will support the body's innate ability to heal. She likes to empower her clients in their healing process by demonstrating stretches and other self-care techniques that they can do between massages.

Her other interests include cycling, running, yoga, music, self-growth, meditation, and trips to the ocean. She loves animals, and her pets are an integral part of her life.
